Incredible service. Food and coffee were both good. I had the tomato, spinach, and feta quiche and the peanut butter cookie. The feta was the dominare flavor in the quiche. The cookie was the sort of dry kind of peanut butter cookie- not my favorite - but I still ate the whole thing. The secret garden is what really makes this place IMO. Loved the hardscaping, but the plants in the garden could use some TLC. It's such a beautiful spot with great bones. I would love to see them do more with it.
Sustainability note: they use real plates, silverware, and mugs here. Awesome! The food is covered in plastic wrap before purchase. Not so awesome, but understandable. -

So cute, quaint, lovely, and a slice of heaven in Hillsdale. Stop and grab a scone, so good! Plenty of seating.

Updating because Jilly Beans has a new owner (as of some time in 2017).
Still great. All of the recipes have been passed along, which makes me very happy. My standby foods are either of the quiches (delicious) or a breakfast bake that they have with potatoes, a ton of cheese, eggs and sausage crumbles.
They also have some stellar additions, like an awesome kombucha that is $5/bottle (coming from someone who doesn't like kombucha, it's delicious). Different soups and sandwiches. New decor. Still homey. -

Wonderful atmosphere, excellent food and beverages, beautiful secret garden courtyard accessible only through inside the coffee shop. Love this place!!! I used to work there and it's a wonderful place to work as well as visit. Also one of the best places around with the absolute best prices!

What a pleasant surprise! Not only is the coffee, cinnamon scones, and spinach/feta quiche delicious, but the atmosphere of mismatched furniture and quaint seating areas, perfectly inviting! We , however, have chose to sit outside in their secret garden which is absolutely breathtaking! A "must"place to stop on your travels or as a regular, you can take advantage of their punch card to earn a free drink!! The staff is as friendly as they come and will make your coffee exactly how you want it! And a plus for us, they have soy!!!
